His experience spans a wide range of industries, including construction, energy, infrastructure, technology, transportation, pharmaceuticals, and insurance, where he has represented various companies and entities. H\u00e9ctor has successfully handled disputes under multiple arbitration rules, including the International Chamber of Commerce<\/b> (ICC), London Court of International Arbitration (LCIA)<\/b>, the International Centre for Settlement of Investment Disputes (ICSID), and the International Centre for Dispute Resolution (ICDR),<\/b> earning a reputation for his strategic approach and ability to achieve results in complex cases. He is particularly recognized for his work in arbitration, advising clients on cases involving state entities and international treaties designed to protect foreign investments.<\/p>

Throughout his career, H\u00e9ctor has spent significant time in Europe, working with two prestigious international law firms. His diverse experience also includes serving as an arbitrator in commercial disputes, providing him with a comprehensive understanding of both procedural and substantive aspects of dispute resolution. His extensive knowledge of administrative litigation has made him a sought-after advisor for clients facing regulatory and compliance challenges, particularly in sectors subject to government oversight.<\/span><\/p>

H\u00e9ctor is an active member of leading arbitration organizations and served as the ICC YAF representative for Latin America from 2019 to 2021. During the same period, he was president of the ICC Mexico Young Arbitration Forum. He was also part of the second generation (2023\u20132024) of the ICC Advanced Arbitration Academy for Latin America. In addition to his professional practice, he frequently participates in forums and seminars on arbitration and administrative law. His academic credentials include teaching at the Monterrey Institute of Technology and Higher Education and publishing various academic articles, including his 2016 doctoral thesis titled \"Investment Arbitration with a Special Focus on ICSID and Latin America.\"<\/span><\/p>

H\u00e9ctor holds a Law Degree from the Universidad Panamericana, with specializations in Tax Law and Foreign Trade and International Business from the same university. He also earned a master\u2019s in law and business (MLB) from Bucerius Law School and WHU \u2013 Otto Beisheim School of Management and a Doctorate in Law (<\/span>magna cum laude<\/span><\/i>from Johann Wolfgang Goethe University in Frankfurt am Main. Additionally, he completed a Diploma in Spanish Law at the University of Alcal\u00e1 de Henares and is a certified attorney by revalidation in Spain. He is a certified public mediator (No. 495) in Mexico City.
