Disputes

In Mexico, sports-related legal disputes are of an administrative nature and are resolved through the Commission of Appeals and Sports Arbitration (CAAD), an entity under the Ministry of Public Education (SEP). The CAAD is responsible for providing specialized justice in sports matters for members of the National System of Physical Culture and Sports (SINADE). Furthermore, in Mexico, legal disputes in this field can be resolved through arbitration or mediation if the parties involved (athletes, coaches, executives, authorities, sports entities, or organizations) agree to do so.

Our lawyers have experience representing the interests of various clients before CAAD. As a specialized area of dispute resolution, we offer guidance and advisory services to clients who require this expertise.
